Richard graduated University of Maryland where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in criminology and justice and Jewish studies. He went on to attend Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he excelled and was able to also work as a legal clerk for Zisholtz & Zisholtz. He is admitted in New York.

 

Being able to work throughout law school has allowed Richard to gain tremendous knowledge into the legal industry - specifically the construction industry. 

 

During his time as a legal clerk, Richard helped draft countless pleadings, motions papers and legal memorandums. He also participated in legal research and preparing cases for appeal, including American Building Supply Corporation v. Petrocelli Group, Inc. 19 N.Y.3d 1003 (2012), which was ultimately argued successfully by Stuart in the Court of Appeals.
